The show is near over...

After a 723 Km journey from The French Pyrenees to the Cote d'azur we have arrived in Nice, a quick stop-over before the journey home tomorrow evening, back to Scotland.

My intention tomorrow is to try and fing a nice fabric shop, I've had a quick Google and it may just be possible....  Watch this space.

The dreaded sun-burn

Here in The Pyrenees as we are in the mountains, it's hot, cold, windy, cloudy - a mixed bag really! You take what you get, the scenery makes up for it anyway.
Yesterday my youngest & I got burnt sitting in windy weather, our Scottish skin didn't realise the sun was there!!  Today, confined to the conservatory part of the pool and shaded we are suffering in silence.

I did drive a round trip of 110k to another fabric shop only to find when I got there they had decided to take a day off.

The tout comes through our village tomorrow, so it's a walk into the hills for us in the morning

TOTO Tissus Pau

Yee ha,

After a mishap and a broken toe, I sauntered round Pau very slowly, no idea where I was heading and I found a lovely wee fabric shop, apparently a chain in France?  Anyway, I am well stocked up and happy.  I also purchased a lovely summer frock for myself...Oh la la!!
